Do You ...Want... to Learn?

"There is no teaching, only learning. What I mean is... until you are emotionally prepared to learn, nothing about your cognitive position will change. And this is doubly true when it comes to learning new behaviors, especially when those behaviors are tied to something that is as emotionally charged as food." Porter Stansberry

You Must Be Humble To Learn

From author Moses Kim: "One of the hardest things to do as a grown, “educated” adult is to learn from others. The inability to learn from others is what guarantees you will have a very childish perspective of the world. If the only books you’ve read were forced on you by the public education system, then your perspective is skewed. It was only when I expanded my realm of knowledge that I saw the world in a whole new way. Fundamentally, human nature never changes. Call it what you may- naivete, ignorance, or outright arrogance- but this is just my experience. By definition, you must be humble to learn ."

Will the Seeds Grow?

I've figured it out- the reason most people don't like reading what I write is because I mess with their drugs- their unhealthy food and drink addictions that they've grown up with. They don't want to hear the truth, or discount the info as false. What a shame! No one likes being called stupid, me included. But it is a fact, that we each have faults, that we each do stupid things in our lives. I could use many examples, but here's just one: It's as plain as the big nose on my face that it doesn't make sense to drink the milk from a cow/eat any dairy products. I have a hard time understanding, that, after science backed facts and human logic has been presented in this blog from nutrition experts, few seem to get it. They don't get that the natural intention of a cow's milk is for it's calf, not a human. They continue with their life shortening, disease promoting habits, even after logic says otherwise. When we die, I believe we will know everythi

I Am at WAR With Cheese!

Think about the word "CHEESE". The word sounds kinda "cheesey" doesn't it? "Cheese" just SOUNDS like a word that clogs up your arteries. Your arteries! Those are the things that deliver blood to your heart and other parts of your body! So the next time you think about the word cheese, or eat cheese, think about the word "sludge." Cheese is made from bovine slime. If you are one who puts your mouth around a cow's teats (in actuality it's what you're doing whenever you consume any food from a cow) you are consuming unhealthy substances: cholesterol and cow's milk proteins that have scientifically been proven to cause disease in humans. It just aint right! Don't eat it! It is promoting disease in you! Is that what you want to do? Eat things that are shortening your life, as well as exploiting animals? Now when I line up at Subway preparing to orchestrate my "Salad Sandwich" (bread plus all veggies), I am just waitin

PEOPLE FOR PLANTS!

I've been told that many of my ideas regarding nutrition and health are ahead of their time. The general population of the U.S. is hopelessly addicted to animal foods and other unhealthy food and drink. It is unrealistic to believe that the masses are going to change any time soon. But there is a slowly growing army of people "in the know" that are starting to create change. The message of "Health is in plant foods" is beginning to cause change in the status quo. School lunches are beginning to add more fruits and vegetable selections. Wal-mart is promoting more fruits and vegetables, pledging to eliminate many junk foods. Our wonderful first lady Mrs. Obama is crusading for our healthy plant based diet cause. On Oprah today (2/1/11) there will be a discussion on the vegan diet with Michael Pollan. Heaven nows Oprah NEEDS a vegan diet- if only she could get turned on to what's right. She has such tremendous influence on others and could lead by example! I am
